Network 23 – Networking for Impact (NETWIT 23)

The European Policy Institute – Skopje (EPI) has started implementing the project Network 23 – Networking for Impact (NETWIT 23) on 15 May 2018.

The overall goal of the proposed action is to contribute to an increased influence of the civil society on creating public policies in the area of Chapter 23 – Judiciary and Fundamental rights in the context of EU accession. To achieve the above, the project has three specific objectives:

SO 1: Increase CSO’ capacities for networking in the areas covered by Chapter 23 – Judiciary and Fundamental Rights,

SO 2: Enrich the contribution of CSOs to public policies under Chapter 23 – Judiciary and Fundamental Rights through improved evidence-based monitoring and policy proposals,

SO 3: Enhance CSO’s dialogue with the institutions in improving public policies under Chapter 23 – Judiciary and Fundamental Rights

The project is envisaged partly as co-financing to the current EU funded project “Network 23+” and partly as its follow-up, thus multiplying the effects of previous interventions. It supports the sustainability to the Network 23 as an already recognised leading CSO platform in this area, both by the public and by stakeholders.

The Action will contribute to the adaption of the already networked civil society in Macedonia to the changed political environment allowing for dialogue with the institutions within a renewed and evolving europeanisation agenda.

Timeframe: 15.05.2018 – 15.05.2019

Budget: 41.682 EUR

Donor: The Balkan Trust for Democracy and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade
