The European Policy Institute-EPI with financial support from the British Embassy in Skopje has started implementing the project “Dialogues for Vision.” Taking into account the current situation in the country, the lack of public debate on policy, particularly in the Parliament, the project should bring liveliness to the already established mechanisms of consultation. The project aims to enhance the dialogue on key issues facing Macedonian society by creating policies based on evidence. To achieve this goal, EPI will work on increasing the capacities of civil society organizations, networking, research and debate on the basis of evidence, promoting inclusiveness in decision-making, and emphasizing the critical role of the Parliament.

The project will provide a structured input from various stakeholders and public debates on key issues in the three pillars: democracy and rule of law; Interethnic relations and socio-economic reforms. The project will contribute to improving the relationship between the government or the decision makers, stakeholders and citizens in the formulation of policies, thus foster democratic processes in the country.
