TEN Regional Conference in Belgrade on 9-10 September
It is our great pleasure to announce the conference Improving Performance of Public Administration: Current Experiences and Future Perspectives, which will be held on 9-10 September 2015 at the Zira Hotel in Belgrade.
Hosted by three TEN members – the European Policy Centre (CEP) from Belgrade, the European Policy Institute(EPI) from Skopje and the Institute Alternativa (IA) from Podgorica – the conference aims to open a regional debate on the public administration performance in the Western Balkan countries. A special focus will be placed on the role and significance of performance audit and policy evaluation for the improvement of policy making and achieving better public administration in the context of the EU accession process.
The conference will host various panel discussions with renowned participants representing civil society, state institutions and international organisations and networks. A comparative regional policy study produced by TEN members will be presented, containing research findings on the level of performance audit development and policy evaluation (as well as possibilities for their linkage) in Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. In addition, public administration scholars and researchers from around the Europe will share national experiences in public administration reform by presenting high quality research papers and discussing their findings in the organised working groups.
The Conference is being organised within the project Performance Audit and Policy Evaluation: On the Same or Parallel Tracks supported by the Regional Research Promotion Programme in the Western Balkans (RRPP), financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The official hashtag of the conference is #TENConference2015
