[Infosheet] Local deliberative events: New geopolitical developments and the impact on North Macedonia

In the period from February to October 2023, EPI organized three local deliberative events with 82 citizens from the Polog, Pelagonia and Skopje regions. At the debates, the citizens discussed the new geopolitical situation and the position of North Macedonia and then asked questions to a panel of experts.

These discussions and the questions raised at them will be the base for the fourth National Deliberative Poll that EPI will organize in cooperation with the Deliberative Democracy Hub from Stanford University in the USA, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy.
