Rethinking Enlargement? The impact of Turkey’s EU integration process on the Western Balkans
The aim of the event is to discuss how the different modes of EU integration have affected the enlargement process and what is the impact of the Turkish process on the EU Enlargement towards Western Balkans.
The main discussant will be our extinguished guest, Prof. Dr Meltem Müftüler-Bac from Sabanci University, Istanbul and EPI’s Director – Dr. Malinka Ristevska Jordanova.
The debate is part of the project “Maximizing the Integration Capacity of the European Union” implemented by a nine-partner consortium of academic, policy, and management excellence that aims to strengthen existing links between the academic and policy world on matters relating to the current and future enlargement of the EU.
