The European Policy Institute – Skopje (EPI) started implementing the project “Partnership Justitia: Regaining Citizens\u2019 Trust”,<\/p>\n

The overall objective of the project<\/strong>\u00a0is to contribute to regaining citizens\u2019 trust in Macedonia\u2019s justice sector by meaningful civil society involvement in substantive reforms.<\/p>\n

Specific objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. To provide structured monitoring and comprehensive input to the implementation of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy by civil society;<\/p>\n

2. To enhance the capacities of CSOs and justice sector stakeholders for participation in judicial reform processes by exchange of know-how, including transfer of EU best practices;<\/p>\n

3. To support and promote meaningful dialogue between CSOs, justice sector stakeholders and citizens on justice sector reforms through public policy advocacy.<\/p>\n

Expected results:<\/strong><\/p>\n

R1: Civil society works together with public institutions in evidence-based monitoring and implementation of the justice sector reform strategy;<\/p>\n

R2: Increased knowledge and expertise of CSOs and justice sector institutions on regional and EU best practices related to the justice sector, as well as enhanced capacities for active participation in reform development, implementation, monitoring and\/or evaluation;<\/p>\n

R3: Increased public policy advocacy by CSOs and the justice sector institutions in front of decision-makers and citizens.<\/p>\n
