Our researcher, Iva Conevska, presented the objectives, results and the activities of the project “Partnership Justitia: Regaining Citizens\u2019 Trust”, that our organization is implementing in partnership with\u00a0Association for Development Initiatives \u2013 Zenith and with association with the\u00a0Association of Judges of the Republic of Macedonia, at the kick off event for the project \u2018Strengthening the Impact of the Civil Society in Effective Justice Sector Reforms\u2019, financed under the European Union\u2019s Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA).<\/p>\n

The event was held on 31st of January in the EU info center in Skopje.<\/p>\n

The main objective of the project that our organization is implementing is\u00a0to contribute to regaining citizens\u2019 trust in Macedonia\u2019s justice sector by meaningful civil society involvement in substantive reforms.<\/p>\n

With this project we will try to\u00a0provide structured monitoring and comprehensive input to the implementation of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy by civil society and\u00a0enhance the capacities of CSOs and justice sector stakeholders for participation in judicial reform processes by exchange of know-how, including transfer of EU best practices. We will also\u00a0support and promote meaningful dialogue between CSOs, justice sector stakeholders and citizens on justice sector reforms through public policy advocacy.<\/p>\n
