The event took place in Stip on 10 October 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Besides identifying the key problematic areas in the functioning of the courts, the focus group was also aimed at foreseeing the effects that the changes in the Law on Courts will take, as well as proposing better alternatives for the upcoming legal changes.<\/p>\n<p>The focus group is first of the four focus groups envisaged to be held in all four court appellate areas in Macedonia.<\/p>\n<p>The activity is implemented in the framework of the project \u201cImplementing RIA on the Law on Courts\u201d, supported by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/epi.org.mk\/en\/idscs.org.mk\/\">Institute for Democracy \u2018Societas Civilis\u2019 Skopje<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/epi.org.mk\/en\/cea.org.mk\/\">Center for Economic Analyses<\/a>, financed by the European Union.
